● P1 Ion Setup
Using ion setup you can:
• Select ion concentration unit
• Select ion electrode type or set the valence of the ion to be measured
• Erase calibration data
To set the ion function of ION2000 or PC2000 meter, follow the procedure detailed below:
Prerequisites
• Switch on the meter.
• Ensure that the meter is in ion measurement mode.
• Default ion concentration unit is
µg/L ↔ mg/L ↔ g/L
. You can change it to
ppm ↔ ppt
or
mmol/L ↔ mol/L
,
if required.
• Default ion electrode type is
NH3
(Ammonia). You can change it to
CL
(Chloride),
FL
(Fluoride),
NO3
(Nitrate),
POT
(Potassium),
CA
(Calcium) or
CUST
(Custom).
CUST
is
for setting the valence of the ion to be measured when the ion electrode type in use is not
in the selection.
• Erasing previous calibration data is recommended for accurate calibration. Default
calibration clear setup is
NO
but to erase the calibration data, change the setup to
YES
.
