3. General description
3.1. Application
The pumps are suitable for clear water fro
m cisterns or similar
.
They are used
for domestic water supply, irrigation, garden watering
.
The pumps must not be used for pumping of liquids containing great quantities of abrasive solids, like sand or
stones. Before the pumping of chemically aggressive liquids, the resistance of the pump materials must be
checked.
The pumps are suitable for both mobile and stationary operation.
Use in slurp mode is not permitted.
The temperature of the pumped medium may be up to 35°C. The maximum density of the pumped medium is
1000 kg/m³ and the pH value may range from 6 to 8.
3.2. Types of Use
The pumps are designed for the S3 mode of operation (intermittent operation). You can find the precise data in
the Table in section 3.3.2, Motor.
3.3. Construction
The submersible aggregate consists of the motor, the pump casing and the suitable impeller. All important parts
are of generous dimension.
