11.3 SINGLE CH. ADDITIVE MEASUREMENT WITH EXTERNAL MIXER 

This  example  utilizes  a  3GHz  source,  however  using  the  instrument  to  perform  an  additive 
measurement in this manner will allow the user to measure the phase noise at frequencies >6GHz.   
 
Below  is  a  detailed  block  diagram  for  performing  a  single  channel  additive  phase  noise 
measurement using an external mixer with the HA7062D Phase Noise Analyzer. External Additive
