With collet holder:
Finger or end mills are clamped with collet holders. Use only the appropriate
collets and clean them before inserting (concentricity) and clamp them well
with the tightening nut. If the milling cutter is clamped on the machine, it
must be held to prevent it from falling down. The cutting edges are sensitive
to impacts. All tools with cylindrical shank and corresponding diameter can be
clamped in the collet holder.
Arbor cutters:
Shell end mills, side milling cutters and milling heads are clamped on arbors.
For driving the milling cutters, arbors are equipped with a longitudinal wedge or
a driver. Never clamp end mills without a longitudinal wedge or driver. Side
milling cutters can be clamped with right- or left-hand cutting (pay attention to
the direction of rotation). Here too, all components must be clean and must not
be damaged.

Clamping of workpieces
The workpieces can be clamped with machine vice, clamping screws, clamps, clamping bases, low
and flat clamps, eccentric clamps, dividing head, rotary tables, jaw chucks, ...
Requirements which the clamping device must meet:
Rigid clamping of the workpieces
No deformation of the workpieces during clamping and milling (weakening of the
workpiece during milling).
Good repeatability of the clamping process (for more than one part).
Fast, easy and safe handling.
