Checking the screw fittings

Before each ride, check that the axles on the front and rear wheels are tight.

are tightened. Also check that the saddle, seat post, handlebars and stem

Lift the vehicle slightly and let it fall to the ground on the tyres. Check if you can

see or hear any loose parts. Check where the loose parts are and ensure they are

5.7. Checking the lights

Before each ride, check that the lights are working. Make sure that the headlight is

set so that it does not dazzle oncoming traffic.

Please also refer to section 6.10. "Adjusting the headlight range".

Maintenance

In order for the vehicle to remain functional and safe, it must be regularly maintained.

Please note the following information before every maintenance measure.

Maintenance requires technical skills. You are responsible for the maintenance

work being carried out correctly.

vice or have a specialist retailer carry out maintenance on the bike.

There is a risk of clamping and crushing during maintenance work. Your

fingers could get stuck between moving parts.
