Configuration for Connection with a Computer
The following connections with a computer are possible.
Connection configuration for the computer and this unit.
2. Manage 1 adapter from multiple computers (Connection N vs 1)
3. Manage multiple adapters from one computer (1 vs N connection)
5. Manage an adapter depending on the internet connection from a computer of an external network
4. Manage multiple adapters from multiple computers (N vs N connections)
In case multiple adapters are connected within the same LAN, set the IP address as it
doesn't overlap.
Execute as in 1 The smallest configuration to change the IP address of this unit.
Refer to the [
3
Network register].

NOTE:
On one computer, the number of adapters
are generally 3 to open the browser at the
same time when the memory is 2GB or
more. (About 250MB are consumed each
time one adapter is connected)
Five computers can be connected at the same time for 1 adapter. IP Address for each computer is necessary.

● Manage this unit depending on the Internet connection
1. The environment to connect to the Internet have to be prepared locally.
2. If you want to connect to the adapter on the Internet, put only the display/operation of the Monitor
screen and the Alarm History screen, and set by the computer within the LAN the schedule screen and
the initialization screen. If the Schedule screen and the Initialization screen are displayed, there may be
a situation where the display is normal but the operation cannot be performed.
This is why it is necessary to have a computer that can be connected to this unit within the LAN.
3.
Networking security is critical when configuring local communications devices including routers and switches
for external access to internal devices including the PSC-A128WEB3. Ensure that trained and qualified IT
engineers lead all efforts to architect a robust security posture concerning this and other IP based devices.
(Example: Might be limitation of the connection target by IP address filtering function of the router.)
4. There is no guarantee concerning the influence which is caused by this unit or an External device
depending on an incorrect external access such as the Internet.
5.
When connecting to this unit by the Internet, depending on the error of the Internet line, the adapter may not
be able to connect. Always use a computer which can be connected to the adapter within the LAN.
