NOTE:
● Concerning the same Indoor unit or Outdoor unit, when multiple External Input conditions are set, their
order of priority is as follows: External Input 1>External Input 2>External Input 8. The process with
high-priority is executing but if a low-priority level is entered, the process is not executed.
Example) Setting for the following Indoor units.
External Input 1 : All Stop/All RC prohibited/Level Signal
External Input 2 : Temperature Switch ±3°C/All RC prohibited/Level Signal
External Input 3: Temperature Switch ±1°C/All RC prohibited/Level Signal
Regarding the setting indicated above, if External Input 1 is ON, even if External Input 2 and 3 are ON,
Temperature Switch is not executed.
If External Input 1 is OFF even in this state, Temperature Switch ±3°C is executed.
Set all external inputs to OFF in the following cases:
1. Changing the content of the external input setting.
2. Changing the content of RC group setting.
3. Checking the connection.
When external input is ON in the above cases, correct control cannot be achieved.
Depending upon the quantity of indoor units under control from the PSC-A128WEB3 and the communication
traffic between devices, it could take up to five minutes until all indoor units respond to the commands
associated with the external input function. Considering this control architecture, do not integrate time critical
or life safety sequences of operation (i.e. forced stop of indoor units during fire or smoke alarm) having
dependencies as an external input to the PSC-A128WEB3.
Reestablish control again from this system in the following cases:
1. Whenever the external input condition changed while the adapter and AC devices were OFF.
2. Whenever the POWER to the adapter or AC device is OFF, then ON while in external input processing.
3. Whenever the condition of the external input changes during a communication error between the adapter
and the AC device: (alarm 60, 61, 64, or 65) is activated.
4. When a communication error between the adapter and the AC device (alarm 60, 61, 64, or 65) occurs, then
restores itself while in the external input processing mode.
Emergency Stop
All RC Prohibited
NOTE:
● When connecting and enabling the RC function together with another Central Controller, excluding the
exception below, even performing this setting, it will go back to RC all permitted.
Exception condition:
When this setting is only combined with [ON/OFF] or [Temperature Switch/Mode Switch] and [Level Input
Signal], the External Input in process continues the prohibited state with the RC of the Indoor unit.
NOTICE:
● [Emergency stop] is a function designed to immediately force stop all indoor unit operations,
those units connected to an adapter configured with the following settings:
Operation state: OFF
Operation Mode: Fan
Set Temp: 28°C
Fan speed: 1
Louver: 1
RC operation: All prohibited
Those settings will be restored upon recovery from emergency stop, but RC operation will continue.
Do not perform control of the AC for 15 minutes after emergency stop is cancelled (including Schedule
and External Input)
If the Control is not performed correctly:
If Emergency Stop Signal is input, the unit will stop after the Indoor unit temporarily operated in FAN
Mode. In the event that an Emergency Stop has occurred on a unit which set Function concerning the
control of the Indoor unit, check settings after the Emergency Stop condition has been canceled.
