Is the Filter Cleaning indicator lit?
Refer to “When the Filter Cleaning Indicator
Comes On” in “Cleaning” when cleaning the hu-
midifying fi lter.

Is the Humidity Monitor displaying 70%?
It automatically operates according to the humid-
ity level.

Is the room too large or ventilated?
The humidity may not increase depending on the
size of the room, the installation location, whether
windows are open or closed, and the state of
ventilation. Use the unit in combination with an-
other humidifi er.
Is a heater used in the room?
Depending on the heater used, the air in the
room may become dry, causing the humidity to
not increase. Use the unit in combination with an-
other humidifi er.

Is the airfl ow rate weak?
When the “Medium” or “Silent” airfl ow rate is se-
lected, the humidifying performance is lessened.
Set the airfl ow rate to “High” or “Max”.

Is there any dust on the pre-fi lter?
Refer to “Pre-filter” in “Cleaning” when cleaning
the pre-fi lter.

Is the humidifying fi lter correctly set?
Or is it dirty with water scales?
Set the humidifying fi lter correctly.

Clean or replace the humidifying fi lter if it is dirty.

The humidifying performance varies depending on
the level of humidity and temperature of the room.
If the humidity level is high, such as on a rainy
day, or if the temperature of the room is low, the
humidifying performance decreases.

Change the Auto Self Clean setting to On.

Dust on the pre-fi lter may remain according to the
use conditions and the type and amount of dust.
Clean the pre-fi lter.

The purifi er
makes a loud
sound after the
power is turned
on or before the
Auto Self Clean
operation.
Is the auto self clean unit attached on the rear
panel?
If the rear panel is not attached, the operation
sound becomes louder for several minutes while
trying to detect the auto self clean unit.
Attach the auto self clean unit. Or, use the air pu-
rifi er without setting Auto Self Clean.
