Preparations for Operation
Movement with casters should be done slowly. The movement is only in sideways direction. (To prevent from falling)
No cleaning effect will be experienced if the fi lter is set without detaching the plastic cover. It will also cause unit failure.
Do not tip over or tilt the unit.
Setting Filter in Unit
Setting procedure is the same with fi lter replacement. (Use only genuine Hitachi Air Purifi er fi lters.)
Remove rear panel and pre-filter
Remove the filter
(filter assembly and deodorizing filter)
Install the deodorizing filter to the unit
Place the unit on a flat and stable
location.
Remove the pre-filter.

Set the filter at the deodorizing filter set position.

Remove the deodorizing filter.

Press the buttons (2 locations on
the left and right) on the lower side
of the rear panel, slowly pull the
pre-filter toward yourself, and slide
it slightly upward to remove it.
Slide the switch upwards
(2 locations) to release the lock.
Remove the filter assembly
from the unit.
Remove the filter from the plastic
packaging.
While pressing the tabs on the unit, set the
deodorizing filter and hook the tabs of the
deodorizing filter with the tabs of the unit.
The filter must be removed from the plastic
packaging.
Do not block the front side of the filter with
cloth, paper or other materials.
Switch
Slide the switch upward.
