Operating Precautions

WARNING

 

•

To prevent an electric shock, a short-circuit and 

damage to the instrument, observe the following 

precautions: Check the position of the rotary 

switch before taking measurements. Disconnect 

the test leads from the measurement object before 

switching the rotary switch.

 

•

Do not use the instrument with circuits that exceed 

its ratings or specifications. Doing so may damage 

the instrument, resulting in an electric shock.

 

•

Use only the specified test leads. Use of any test 

lead not specified by our company does not allow 

safe measurements.

 

•

To prevent electrical accidents, remove power from 

the circuit before connecting the test leads.

 

•

To prevent an electric shock, do not exceed the 

lower of the ratings shown on the instrument and 

test leads.
