Section 4 - Operating the Rockpicker
Place Reel Lockout Onto Splined Reel Shaft

Unlock and Lift the Reel Cage

Tighten the Bolts to Prevent Reel Rotation

9. Place the reel lockout (1) onto the reel
shaft.
- Loosen the bolts on the lockout to
allow for positioning.
- Place the lockout (1) onto the splines
of the reel shaft.
10. Tighten the bolts (2) of the lockout
against the rockpicker apron.
- Tighten the bolts so that the reel
will not move.
Check that the reel is securely
fastened and that there is no
movement of the reel.
Removing the lodged rock requires
entry into the reel area. Ensure the
reel is secure and will not move
causing injury when the spring
pressure is released.
11. Unlock the cage lock and fully lift the
reel cage.
