2.4.3. Symbols for filling level and tank pressure
Even with low viscosity products, but even more with higher viscosity mediums, the eccentric
rotor pump requires a certain primary supply pressure to be correctly filled and to dispense the
specified volume. In order to provide this preliminary pressure, a small pressure regulator is
integrated into the front of the RC15 control unit. The current value of the primary pressure is
displayed at the bottom on the left of the main screen. If the primary pressure is too low, the
pump could not be sufficiently filled, resulting in bubbles and quantity deviations. To prevent
this, the primary pressure is monitored by the control unit.
The displayed pressure is stored as the intended pressure by touching the pressure display field.
As soon as the actually measured pressure deviates by more than 10% from the preset target
pressure, a pressure fault is reported and dispensing is stopped for that reason. The pressure
fault message disappears automatically when the primary pressure returns to a value within the
tolerance range or when the actual pressure is set as the new intended pressure.

Tank vented, but (re-)filled.
After the lid has been securely screwed on:
Touch the tank symbol to confirm that
pressure can be reapplied.
Tank pressure fault.
To store the actual pressure as intended set-
up pls. touch the pressure display on the right
side.

empty and vented.
