3.9.2 How to tilt the device

If you must measure a product which does not have a level surface then attach an orientation
system and tilt the device to get a good measurement signal. You can tilt the device to a
maximum angle of 30

from the vertical axis.

Equipment needed:

•

5 mm Allen wrench (not supplied)

•

Loosen the 4 socket head screws around the orientation system with a 5 mm Allen wrench.

•

Tilt the device to the correct angle.

•

Tighten the 4 socket head screws. This step locks the orientation system to prevent

movement.
