3.9 Orientation system (accessory)
3.9.1 How to attach the orientation system to the device
If it is necessary to tilt the antenna at the product with angle more than 2
°
from the vertical axis,
attach an orientation system to the device. This part is available as an accessory for devices with
threaded connections. The orientation system has a low pressure flange to attach the device to
silo.
Equipment needed:
• Device
• Orientation system (accessory)
• ISO 228-1 (G) connection: ISO 228-1 (G) connection: ISO 228-1 (G) connection: ISO 228-1 (G) connection: Gasket (not supplied)
• NPT connection: NPT connection: NPT connection: NPT connection: PTFE threaded seal tape (not supplied)

• 3 mm Allen wrench (not supplied)
• If the device does not have an antenna extension, remove the locking screw from the top of the
antenna with a 3 mm Allen wrench. If the device has one or more antenna extensions, remove
the locking screw from the top antenna extension and remove the antenna and the antenna
extensions from the part below the flange.
• Remove the antenna from the part below the flange (if there are no antenna extensions).
i The antenna is not attached to the device.
WARNING!
If the orientation system is attached to the device, do not pressurize the silo. Use only at
atmospheric pressure.

Do not tighten the process connection to a torque more than 40 N
