The voltage range of the Hybrimune voltage waveform generator
can be set from 5 to 75 volts peak in 5 volts-peak steps using
several algorithms. These algorithms and their names are
presented in Figure 19. The method of programming these
functions is described on page 18.
Constant Amplitude
This function is the classic electrofusion waveform and has
appeared on a number of vendors systems. Generally the
amplitude is set and the duration is set. This function is available on
the BTX laboratory instrument system.
LINEAR RAMP AMPLITUDE (SET BY RAMP K = 1)
This function appeared on the original Zimmerman system a
number of years ago. That system has not been sold for many
years. The linear ramp can be set to increase or decrease at a
constant rate volts per second by setting the start voltage, the stop
voltage and the duration. This function is also available on the BTX
Hybrimune Interface Software.
