Manoeuvring of the Boom

WARNING! The folding functions must only be operated, when the sprayer is stationary! Failure to do so will damage
the boom.

ATTENTION! The boom can not be operated with the tractor’s hydraulic levers.
How To Unfold the Boom
1.
Press button (H) to lift the boom clear of the transport lock. Check
the position of the yellow folding indicator (J) - see “Folding
Indicator” below.
2.
The symbol must show on the controller display.
If not, lock the trapeze by pressing for approximately 5
seconds; this will activate the chain lock in the boom centre.
3.
Press the buttons (B) and (D) to tilt down the boom wings.
4.
Press the left and right buttons (M) simultaneously to unfold the
boom wings. All boom wings will unfold one at a time.
5.
Press button (I) to lower the boom to the correct working height.
6.
Unlock the trapeze by pressing for approximately 5 seconds.
The symbol is now shown on the controller display.
Folding Indicator
From the tractor cabin, look for the yellow indicator (J) to be visible in
the slot hole in the black plate (K). The indicator moves up or down as
the boom is raised or lowered.
When the indicator is visible, the boom is clear of the transport lock and
ready for unfolding/folding.
How To Fold the Boom
1.
Press button (E) or (F) to set neutral slant angle (no slant).
2.
Lock the trapeze by pressing for approximately 5 seconds; this
will activate the chain lock in the boom centre.
The symbol is now shown on the controller display.
3.
Press button (H) to raise the boom - check the position of the
yellow folding indicator (J).
4.
Press the left and right buttons (L) simultaneously to fold the boom
sections.
5.
Press the buttons (A) and (C) to tilt the boom wings to vertical, so
it rests at the transport brackets.
6.
Press button (I) to lower the boom, until it rests on the rubber pads
(O) and the transport locks (P) are in locked position.
