Four post parking lift Happ25 4 post hoist

equivalent.
Initial Testing of the lift
The pump when operated should now extend the ram with no oil leaks.
Ensure the safety mechanism rods will not catch on anything.
Test lifting and lowering the hoist at positions under the first safety. The lift should lift and
lower evenly, adjust with the two nuts on each column. If your cable adjustment runs out of
thread use spacers to allow for this. Spacers are available from HAPP to assist if this is the
case. Do not operate the lift with uneven cable adjustment.
Adjust the nuts on top of each column to provide roughly parallel lift (more exact adjustment
will be performed later)
Check and double check all bolts are fastened tightly.
Check and double check safety mechanism is functional.
Make sure you have even lifting on all four cables, small differences in adjustment may
cause the plate connecting cables to cylinder rod to not be horizontal. Check this plate
when adjusting the cables.
Connect the safety release mechanism
This is more easily performed with the hoist in a raised position.
Raise the hoist up to around waste height and secure onto safety latch.
Verify that the latches are engaged and the cables are acting as backup.
The two ends of the rod now are threaded together with the threaded rod and lock nut as
shown in the diagram below.

Tip: If this is performed before the horizontal tie rods to latches are connected the external
fitting can be used to spin the rod and thread onto the connectors. Otherwise you have to
install the threaded rod and nut inside the small opening.
