Owner’s Playing Guide

USER AND FACTORY

There are two categories of Patches on the XK-5 -

Factory

and

User

. TheFactory Patches are factory-programmed and cannot be changed.

The User Patches are also factory-programmed; however, you can make changes to them or even overwrite them entirely in order to create

your own custom Patches. In the display, User Patches are designated by the letter “U,” and Factory Patches are designated by the letter “F.”

Each category contains 100 Patches for a total of 200.

NOTES: The XK-5 comes from the factory with default settings for all 200 Patches. The “U” Patches duplicate the Factory Patches - Patch

P41 and Patch U41 will be identical, for example. Please consult the APPENDIX at the back of this Guide for a complete listing of the fac-

tory Patches.
