Kennzeichnen Sie die sterilisierten Produkte nach den gesetzlichen und nationalen Vorschriften.
Die empfohlene Lagerdauer für sterile Medizinprodukte ist in Norm DIN 58953-8 beschrieben
und hängt von äußeren Einflüssen und Einwirkungen bei der Lagerung, Transport und Handha-
bung ab. Der Anwender muss im Rahmen seines Qualitätsmanagementsystems dafür sorgen,
dass ggf. vorgegebene Aufbereitungszyklen (siehe Begrenzung bei der Aufbereitung) nicht über-
schritten werden. Alle im Zusammenhang mit dem Produkt auftretenden schwerwiegenden Vor-
kommnisse sind umgehend dem Hersteller und der zuständigen Behörde Ihres Mitgliedstaats zu
melden. Für die Entsorgung der Produkte gibt es regional unterschiedliche Empfehlungen und
Vorschriften. Fragen Sie Ihre zuständigen Entsorgungsbetriebe nach den in Ihrer Region aktuel-
len Regelungen.

Die oben aufgeführten Anweisungen wurden vom Medizinprodukt-Hersteller als geeignet für die
Vorbereitung eines Medizinprodukts zu dessen Wiederverwendung validiert. Dem Aufbereiter
obliegt die Verantwortung, dass die tatsächlich durchgeführte Aufbereitung mit verwendeter
Ausstattung, Werkstoffen und Personal in der Aufbereitungseinrichtung das gewünschte Ergeb-
nis erzielt. Dafür sind Verifizierung und/oder Validierung und Routineüberwachungen des Ver-
fahrens erforderlich.

Warnings:
Attention! The product must be cleaned, disinfected and sterilized according to these
processing instructions before its first use as well as after every further use. Disinfection
alone is not enough. Thorough cleaning and disinfection are essential prerequisites for ef-
fective sterilization.The processing should be started as early as possible, at latest 2 hours after
use. During the processing, the product should not be unnecessarily exposed to wetness or hu-
midity. Please also observe the legal regulations applicable in your country as well as the hygiene
regulations of your medical practice and/or the hospital.
Limitations in the processing:
Frequent
reprocessing has only minor effects on this product. The end of the product’s useful life is mainly
determined by wear and damage caused by use. In case of doubt, the products should always be
sorted out and replaced at an early stage. The user is solely responsible for making the decision re-
garding repeated use of the product. If the product is used too frequently, the manufacturer does
not accept any warranty for the function, performance and safety of the product.
Personal pro-
tective equipment:
For reasons of occupational safety and to minimize infections/cross-infec-
tions, suitable personal protective equipment (protective clothes, protective gloves, protective
goggles and nose/mouth protection) must be used during the entire processing procedure.
INITIAL TREATMENT AT THE PLACE OF USE
Remove surface contamination using a disposable cloth/paper cloth while still at the place of use.
Rinse the products with water (at least drinking water quality) 2 hours after use at the latest. The
drying of residues or contamination of any kind on the product must be avoided. For the initial
treatment at the place of use, do not use any aldehyde-containing or alcohol-containing agents as
they may cause protein fixation.
PREPARATION BEFORE CLEANING
Disassemble the product into its individual components. Visual inspection for damage and wear.
