Troubleshoot disk slots
Symptom
Measure
The disk power/positioning/Active LED
(green) is OFF, and the disk cannot be
identified by the system.
Remove and re-insert the disk. If the
disk power/positioning/Active LED is still
OFF in one minute, the disk slot is faulty.
The disk power/positioning/Active LED
is ON normally, but the disk cannot be
identified by the system.
Remove and re-insert the disk to see if
the disk can be identified by the system.
If still not, replace the disk with another
one which can operate properly. If the
latter still cannot be identified, the disk
slot is faulty.
