If any disk is faulty, contact H3C technical support personnel to replace it.
5.3.2 Replacing a Disk
Caution:
Disks of an IX1000 are hot-swappable.
I. Removing a disk
”, remove a disk in reverse order.
II. Replacing a disk
To replace the disk removed from the IX1000 chassis, proceed as follows:
1) Remove the fix screws from both sides of the disk (six screws in total).
2) Take out the disk by lifting it upwards, as shown in
3) Replace it with a new disk. Fasten the six screws on the two sides of the disk.

III. Installing a disk

5.4 Troubleshooting Disk Slots
After the disks are installed on the slots and are powered on, perform the operations
listed in
to locate slot problems. Contact H3C technical support when slot
problems occur.
