III. View Startup information
After the IX1000 is powered on, serial port 1 redirects the startup information of the
IX1000 to the client PC and the HyperTerminal program receives the displayed
information.
The startup information includes the following diagnostic information:

Memory size
z
BIOS version information
z
RAID information
z
Information of the boot device selection menu
z
GRUB information
You can determine whether the IX1000 system is started normally by viewing the
information above.
Warning
The following system startup information is provided for you to view only. No manual
intervention is required during the system startup. Modification to the startup
information by nonprofessional personnel will lead to unpredictable consequences.
