2.2 Examining Installation Site
IX1000 can be used indoors only. To ensure that the device works normally and to
prolong its service life, the following requirements should be met in terms of installation
environment.
2.2.1 Temperature Requirements
To ensure the normal operation, the temperature in the equipment room should be
within specific ranges, as listed in
Table 2-1

Long-lasting high temperature will speed up the aging of the insulating materials,
greatly lowering the reliability of the device and seriously shortening its service life.
Caution:
When an IX1000 is moved from a low-temperature environment to a high-temperature
environment, condensation may occur on the device. In this case, be sure to take
measures (such as drying and airing the device) before powering on the device to
prevent hazards caused by short circuit.
2.2.2 Humidity Requirements
To ensure the normal operation, the humidity in the equipment room should be within
specific ranges, as listed in
