The Remote Control Feature permits control of the unit from a remote wired
location. This is accomplished by wiring contacts 13 and 15 on the 15-pin "D"
connector on the rear of the recorder to a switch/resistor network, shown
below. The following functions can be activated by using the remote pins:
STOP, PLAY, STILL, REWIND, FIELD FORWARD, FAST FORWARD, SPEED
CHANGE, & RECORD.
• Not active in "Lock Mode"
• Resistor Network is supplied as service part, Number F1372561
• REMOTE CONTROL may also be activated using standard resistors in place of the
Resistor Network, as shown below:
