{Continued}
PIN 10 REC START IN
Accepts a +5V level input or a TTL level signal. The +5V input or TTL HIGH level
activates the Record mode. May be used in conjunction with another recorder with
this input connected to the Tape End output Pin 11 through a resistor voltage
divider (see figure above). When tape runs out on the first recorder, this function
will put the second recorder into record mode.
Pin 11 TAPE END OUT
When in Record mode (not in Recycle Record, however), the output gets pulled
to +12V when end-of-tape occurs and is latched in this mode until the tape is
ejected from the recorder. This output can supply 10mA at +12V.
PIN 12 CAMERA SWITCHER PULSE OUT
This TTL output is programmable via the on-screen display and the Record /Play
buttons on the front panel. It is intended to be connected to an external camera
switcher and causes the switcher to cycle through the cameras connected to it.
PIN 13 REMOTE IN
Accepts a contact closure to Ground through a resistor network to activate various
modes. Different modes are activated depending on the resistance to Ground at
the pin. See Appendix B.
PINS 14 & 15 COMMON
Connected to common system Ground. Used as a reference level for all inputs and
outputs on this connector.
