Once the vehicle is lifted, always insert the safety pin into the column to hold the load securely.
Clean the support surface of the vehicle and the rubber pads of the underbody tool properly. Remove any grease and
oil stains that may cause the vehicle to slide.
Check that the air pressure entering the circuit is between 6 and 8 bar.
Work underneath the lifted vehicle and during the ascent and descent is not permitted.
Vehicles should only be lifted at the lifting points recommended by the car manufacturers. Be careful to check that the
jack does not come into contact with areas near the airbag activation sensors during and after climbing.
The equipment must not be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere and it is not recommended to work near a heat
source.
It is forbidden to use the device on a boat (stability issues).
It is forbidden to use spare parts other than those of GYS certified original equipment.
Do not lift loads other than those provided for in the destination where the SPOT LIFT is to be used.
If in doubt about the solidity of the vehicle (rust) - Do not lift the vehicle.
In the event of a severe impact on the load-bearing and/or structural components of the jack, it is essential to take the
product out of service and contact your dealer or GYS to assess the damage before putting it back into service.
Intended use also includes familiarising yourself with these operating instructions and complying with all the instructions
contained therein, in particular the safety instructions.
Ensure compliance with safety and risk prevention standards in your country.
Do not put the jack in direct contact with food.
In addition, this also includes the obligation to carry out all inspection and maintenance work at regular intervals.
In the event of improper use of the jack, the operational safety of the jack is not ensured.
Bodily injury and material damage, also to vehicles, caused by improper use of the device is in no way attributable to
GYS, but to the operator handling the jack.
Do not perform any modifications on the machine
It is strictly forbidden to work under a vehicle carried only by SPOT LIFT.
At the end of a work session, bring the vehicle back to the ground to avoid having the jack operate at full load for an
extended period of time.
