Light Operations
Alarm
A light zone output can be programmed to come on if an alarm occurs. The option is alarm
on/off. If programmed then any alarm in any area will activate all light zone outputs
programmed for alarm operation.
Light Operations
Set/Uns
A light zone output can be programmed to come on when setting and unsetting (during the
exit time and entry times). If Windsor is setting and the Lights Set/Uns option is on then the
zone light(s) will come when setting is requested and remain on for the programmed auto time
after setting. When unsetting the zone light(s) will come on at the start of the entry time and
remain on for the programmed auto time after unsetting.

On Time
The programmed light zone outputs can be programmed to turn on at any programmed time
of day. The output(s) will operate irrespective of the zone light level. Timed control can be
used without a daylight sensor configured and could be used to turn on any output not just an
MSU output. If you do not want timed control then program the on and off times with the same
time.

Dusk Time
A daylight sensor can only be connected to circuit 8 of a Windsor external concentrator and
will only operate correctly if LK4 on the concentrator is in the DAY position. If the day input is
used then the 4 normal alarm/tamper terminals for circuit 8 cannot be used. Each Exc-D
type circuit can be programmed with a light zone level in the range 1-64. The DAY input is an
analogue input and this range of values corresponds to a voltage level of 0-12 volts
approximately. Any analogue input source, which operates in this range, could be used
to trigger a light zone output. If you are unsure of the level to set go to check mode and
monitor the displayed circuit state for different input voltages/light levels. Adjust the
programmed level until the alarm/clear boundary is detected. A switch can be used to trigger a
light zone. In this case any input can be used and programmed as an Exc-D type. The default
light level of 20 will allow the switch to control the zone.
Dusk Time set to
00:00
Time of day
Windsor can be programmed with an off time to be used in conjunction with the dusk
operation. If dusk control is programmed then when the light level falls to the programmed
level for the zone the output will be turned on until the programmed off time of day. Press

to
change the programmed test time. If you do not want dusk control to operate then enter a time
of 00:00.
