Installation of generator
Installation of generators of model 132
Alignment
Important
y
Using the utmost care, align the drive shaft
to prevent damage to the generator and the
drive unit itself caused by excessive forces
during operation.
y
Ideally, align the drive shaft with laser
equipment. The drive shaft can also be
aligned and checked with a dial gage, ruler, or
a spirit level.

The permissible lateral offset is dependent on
the length of the intermediate pipe.
It is computed from the following formula:
ΔKr = tanα x AB, where AB = A-2 x N
General assembly of and disassembly instructions
y
Do not form the metal bellows beyond the permissible values.
y
Avoid any use of force.
y
The shafts and holes of the driving collars to be connected must be dirt-
and burr-free.
y
Check the shaft connection dimensions and the tolerances.
y
Oil the shaft journals: makes assembly of and disassembly of easier.
