Installation of generators of model 160

To install the generators of model 160, proceed according to the
descriptions in this section.

Prior to installation, read the safety instructions in section 3.1 and sections
3.2 to 3.4 attentively and follow the instructions and information therein.

Risk of accident

Incorrectly attached lifting equipment can lead to accidents.

Secure the lifting equipment to the generator exclusively
using the ring screws provided.
►
Only use suitable lifting equipment.
3.6.1
Installation dimensions
and assembly
During assembly, observe the minimum
clearances and specifications for cooling in the
following section.

Secure the generator with at least four
mounting screws (minimum M12 or
comparable, bolt grade min. 8.8).

The attachment must be permanent and
resistant to shock and vibrations.
y
Use suitable means to prevent the screws
from coming undone by themselves, e.g. via
a tension ring according to DIN 128.
y
Tightening torque for mounting screws: M = 87 Nm
y
Permissible load of the shaft: Fr

= 5,000 N (measured in 60 mm
axial clearance from the point where the shaft exits the bearing plate)
