5.6.1.2.7.1 Region Area
To create a region, click
Draw
and then click up to 16 corners of the region on the video image
to create your region. When you have clicked your last point, the region will close automatically
when you hit
Save Area
.
5.6.1.2.7.2 Time Threshold
Select the time in seconds before an object is loitering. If the object stays inside the region for
more than this time the object is considered to be loitering and an event is created.
5.6.1.2.7.3 Periodic Repeat
Turning on Periodic Repeat will send a follow up event if the object is still loitering after a certain
number of seconds (Set by 'Repeat Interval'). It will continue to resend until the object is no
longer tracked in the zone.
5.6.1.2.7.4 Repeat Interval
Set the Repeat Interval in seconds to control how often the loitering event is sent. When Periodic
Repeat is enabled, the camera will send a follow up event if the object is still loitering after a
certain number of seconds. It will continue to resend until the object is no longer tracked in the
zone.
5.6.1.2.7.5 Add Rule
Once the rule is created, click
ADD RULE
to apply it.
All rules once created will be listed in the
Motion/Analytics > Rules >
table list
.
5.6.1.2.8 Line Counting
This analytic type uses object tracking and reports events when objects cross a defined line.
To use this rule the camera must be calibrated for the scene, setting the
