5.5.1.2.5.1 Subject
Enter the text to be displayed in the subject of the email. Include any key identifiers required to
ensure it is given the correct level of priority. Many email systems allow rules to be set up to
manage messages by subject content to help with this.
5.5.1.2.5.2 Include event
Select this to include details of the event in the email.
5.5.1.2.5.3 Snapshot Profile
The email includes a JPEG still image taken around the time of the event. From the dropdown
list, select which
Media Profile
the snapshot will be obtained from. This can be from the default
media profiles or from any new profiles that have been created. The resolution of the snapshot
is determined by the selected Media Profile encoder resolution.
5.5.1.2.5.4 SMTP Address
Enter the IP address of your email provider’s SMTP server. Please note Email notification will
not sent on motion under certain circumstances, for example if using IP Address instead of
DNS.
5.5.1.2.5.5 SMTP Port
Enter the network port used by your email provider’s SMTP server.
5.5.1.2.5.6 Outbox Username
Enter the username of the email account to be used to send email. This must be in the form of
an email address. If you need such an email account to use with this camera, free accounts
are available at many online email service providers.
5.5.1.2.5.7 Outbox Password
Enter the password of the email account.
5.5.1.2.5.8 Notification Receivers
Enter the email address of the email recipients you would like notified. Separate multiple email
addresses with a comma.
