5.4 WASHING PROGRAMME SELECTION AND APPLIANCE START
Attention!
•
The washing programme can be selected with the porthole open or
closed.
•
Every page provides maximum 8 washing programmes at a time;
•
In the event there are more than 8 pre-set washing programmes and
you want to select one that is not shown on the page currently being
displayed, use the right or left arrow to scroll through the available
pages.
Once the required programme has been identified, touch the green START symbol with the porthole closed.
The porthole locks (you hear a click) and the selected washing programme starts.
To see the functions currently in progress or to modify some washing parameters, touch OK while the pro-
gramme is active, and scroll through the various items of the display as described above. Depending on
the selected profile (see section 7 of paragraph 5.2), only some or all of the settings will be available and
displayed.

Attention!
•
The “Wash&go” profile (see 6.5) does not have access to this display;
•
Any modifications applied to the washing programme while it is running
are never saved. They remain valid only for the programme in progress.
•
At the end of the programme, all the values are reset.
Repeatedly touch above the left arrow to exit this display: at every touch, GUIDO
®
returns to the previous
page until displaying the initial page where the washing programme can be selected.
Some icons alternate while the washing programme advances next to the icon (1) that describes the profile
(see the screen example below).
The programme provides for the laundry weighing phase to determine the correct amount of
water, mechanical action and detergent (patented DWS process). This phase is always car-
ried out at the beginning of the programme when the laundry is dry and it involves two short
spin phases.
The weighing phase can be used with any type of laundry.
The programme involves a phase where the water loading has been set and therefore, pre-
wash, wash, rinse, and soak. The flashing icon indicates that the water is about to be drained.
