Seat suspension squeaks.
• Side clearance of rollers in the upper
or lower suspension part is too large
or insufficient lubrication of the rollers.
• Insufficient lubrication of the axles of
the swinging structure for the fixed
bearings.
• Insufficient lubrication of the central
bearing of the swinging structure.
• Insufficient lubrication of the collar
screw and/or of the axle of the
swinging structure for the fastening of
the vertical shock absorber.
Replace the seat suspension (see
Chapter 3.44).
Apply penetrating oil to the fixed
bearing (through the hole in the lower
or upper suspension part.
Apply penetrating oil to the central
bearing of the swinging structure (see
Chapter 3.45).
Note:
For this purpose, the swinging
structure does not have to be
removed.
Apply acid-free multi-purpose
lubricant to the collar screw and/or to
the axle of the swinging structure
(see Chapter 3.35).
