Cold Weather Starting Aids

• It  is  the 

owners

 

responsibility

 to determine proper use of starting aid with

regard to engine and starting aid manufacturer’s instruction.

• An ether starting aid may be used with this engine 

only

 if it 

does not 

have the

optional 

grid heater

.

ENGINE EXPLOSION.

 If your excavator is equipped

with a cold start aid, do not spray additional ether into
air cleaner. If machine is not equipped with cold start
aid, follow instructions listed in the engine manual

supplied

  with  the  excavator.  Failure  to  comply  may

result in death or serious injury.
