BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
FOR THE FIRST TIME
Take the halogen oven and all
accessories from the packaging.
Rinse the glass pot with water and dry
it. Then, place it on the support.
Place the lid on the pot and connect
the power cord.
Set the temperature to 250
°C and
timer to 5 minutes. This will remove
any factory odours.
When the appliance is switched on for
the first time, some smoke may appear
for a moment. This is normal.
When the cooking time set with the
timer expires, the appliance will beep.
The heater and the fan will be switched
off.
Remove the lid and place it on a heat-
resistant surface.
Wait for the appliance to cool down.
USING THE HALOGEN OVEN
Place the glass pot onto the support and select
the grid (high or low) that you wish to use. Place
the grid into the pot.
Place the food on the grid, distributing it evenly.
There should be 2 to 3 centimetres of space
between the food and the pot walls to allow air
circulation. Do not place the food onto the grid in
layers. Cover the pot with the glass lid with
control knobs. Connect the power cord to the
power mains (a socket).
Set the temperature and timer. Cooking
temperature and time depend on the type and
shape of food.
The oven will reach the set temperature quickly.
The temperature control system will maintain the
set temperature by switching the halogen heater
on and off. This can be observed via the control
lamp. During cooking, frequently check on the
food through the glass pot. If the food has to be
turned during cooking, disconnect the power cord
and place the lid on a temperature resistant
surface. After turning the food around, replace
the lid and re-connect the power cord.
When the cooking time expires, the appliance will
beep. The heater and the fan will be switched off.
Disconnect the power cord and place the lid on a
temperature resistant surface.
Take the food from the glass pot, wait for the
bowl to cool down, clean it, and store in a
suitable place.
