Tightening torques

Screws fixing plate ............................ 9 ÷ 11 Nm
The lower bush (15) can be removed unscrewing the
two screws (15a).
When mounting,
– refit the plate (14) without tightening the screws
(13);
– reassemble the steering column (10) making sure
to replace the shoulder washers (8) and (11), the
three pins (6), (7), (9), so they remain centred with
the steering column;
– fully tighten the two screws (12).
IMPORTANT
- The cotter pins (3) must always be
replaced for user safety reasons.
• Reassemble the steering column guards.
