The  chains  should  always  be  engaged  and  disengaged  while  the  vehicle  is 

moving.  Other important information concerning your vehicle’s necessary speed to use 
these chains is very important. 
 
When  out  of  season,  the  system  can  be  deactivated  with  a  switch  in  the  electrical 
compartment.    The  cylinder  and  chain  system  can  be  removed  and  reinstalled  when 
needed.  Contact your dealer for help.
