To install the
GC228A
select an appropriate indoor or outdoor location.
The unit should be mounted on a panel or wall. Cut a 2.5” X 2.5” hole in the panel or wall and bring to this location
the wiring cables of the Awnings’ Motors and the 110VAC supply wires.
To install:
1.
Remove the snap on decorative front panel
2.
Strip ¼” of insulation from all wires
3.
Loosen the retaining sDCew and insert each wire in the proper location on the edge connector as shown in
Fig. 3
4.
Firmly tighten each retaining sDCew using a small sDCewdriver
5.
Mount the unit on the wall or panel using the sDCews provided
6.
Replace the decorative panel on the front
The model
GC228B
is the interface between the
GC228A
and the Girard Auto-Valance System enabling the remote
control of the DC Motor (Valance) and the LED lights of the system
The Auto-Valance system may be controlled manually (Fig. 1) from the GC228A using the left switch bank to
control the Valance motor (Up, Stop and Down) and the right bank to control the LED lights (Up/Off, Stop/Off and
Down/On)
