Refitting the driving pulley
- Manually move the movable driven half-pulley
away by pulling it towards the clutch unit and insert
the belt observing the direction of rotation of the
first fitting.
N.B.
IT IS GOOD PRACTICE ALWAYS TO FIT THE BELT SO
THAT THE WORDS CAN BE READ IN CASE IT DOES NOT
SHOW A FITTING SIDE.
- Refit the components of the assembly (roller con-
tainer assembly with bushing, limiting washer, sta-
tionary half-pulley, cooling fan belt with drive,
washer and nut).
- With the specific tool, tighten the lock nut to 20
Nm and then perform a final 90° locking in order to
prevent the rotation of the driving pulley.
N.B.
REPLACE THE NUT WITH A NEW ONE AT EVERY REFIT
CAUTION
UPON FITTING THE DRIVING PULLEY UNIT IT IS OF UT-
MOST IMPORTANCE THAT THE BELT IS FREE INSIDE IN
ORDER TO AVOID WRONG TIGHTENING AND CONSE-
QUENTLY DAMAGING THE CRANKSHAFT KNURLING.

Removing the hub cover
• Remove the transmission cover
• Remove the clutch assembly
• Discharge the rear hub oil.
• Remove the 5 screws indicated in the figure.
• Remove the hub cover with driven pulley shaft.
