Refitting the driven half-pulley bearing
- Fit a new ball bearing with the specific tool.
- Fit the ball bearing retention snap ring.
- Fit the new roller bearing with the wording visible
from the outside.
CAUTION
PROPERLY SUPPORT THE HALF-PULLEY TO PREVENT
DAMAGE TO THE THREADED END WHILE THE BEARINGS
ARE BEING FITTED.

Refitting the driven pulley
• Check the surfaces contacting with the belt.
• Insert the new oil seals and the O-rings on the
mobile half-pulley.
• Fit the half-pulley on the bushing.
CAUTION
WHILE FITTING THE MOBILE DRIVEN HALF-PULLEY,
TAKE CARE NOT TO DAMAGE THE OIL SEALS.
• Check that pins and collar are not worn, refit pins and collar.
• Use a bent tip oiler to lubricate the pulley unit with approx. 6 gr grease. This operation must be per-
formed through one of the holes into the bushing until the grease starts leaking from the opposite hole.
This procedure is necessary to prevent the presence of grease beyond the O-ring.
