Programming Keypads with Standard Numeric Overlays
To program keypads with standard numeric overlays, proceed as follows:

If you have not already established communications, do so at this time. After communications
have been established, the CAT displays the message “Press the
YES
key”.

The CAT display will prompt you to press
NO
. Press
NO
located on the CAT keypad.

The CAT display will prompt, “Program keypad?”. Press
YES
to continue with keypad
programming.

The CAT display will prompt, “Use Standard Numeric Keypad?”. Press
YES
to continue.

The CAT display will prompt, “Program the CLEAR key?”. Press
YES
to continue. Refer to
the chart in
“Keypad Programming - Standard Numeric Overlays”
on
to continue
keypad programming.

After the programming is complete, the CAT display will prompt, “Update all keypads?”. If all
units have the same overlay, press
YES
. On each subsequent fueling position, you can bypass
keypad programming and press
YES
to the prompt “Use Default Keypad?”.
Note: If only a few keypads are unique, update all keypads and then program the unique
positions individually. This will save time when you program multiple CAT overlay
layouts.
