Installing toothed belt and toothed-belt locks

1. Calculate toothed-belt length using the formula in the block diagram.
For 2-leaf doors,
two
toothed belts:
•
Left toothed belt (deflector)
•
Right toothed belt (motor)
For 1-leaf doors,
one
toothed belt:
•
Toothed belt (deflector)
2. Cut toothed belt to length.
3. Guide toothed belt around crown gear of the motor and deflector.
4. Insert the toothed belt between the locking device guide (2) and locking device (3).
5. Attach ends of toothed belt to the toothed-belt locks (1).

Tensioning toothed belt
1. Loosen bolts (2).
2. Pull motor (1) with mounted toothed belt (5) to the right.
3. Tighten bolts (2).
4. Loosen bolt (4).

Ensure that exactly 3 teeth of each end of the toothed belt grip the toothed-
belt locks.
