Step 2:
Use the REMINDER function to input the fre-
quency at which the reminder alarm will trigger (between
0.5 and 4.0 hours). Setting this value automatically resets
the alarm to trigger on the input frequency. This function
also allows the alarm to be disabled.
Step 3:
Press
next to RESET to acknowledge the trig-
gered alarm and reset it for continued operation. Note that
the selection of PROBE DELAY or VELOCITY functions
also resets the alarm.
4.11 Activating Instrument Upgrades
When provided, activation codes matched to your instru-
ment’s serial number can be input by using the CODE
Submenu (located in the CONFIG Menu). This submenu
also lists the serial number assigned to your instrument.
To input an activation code:
Step 1:
Access the CODE Submenu (located in the CON-
FIG Menu).
Step 2:
Press
(two times) next to the CODE function
to input the supplied activation code (see Chapter 6 to
use the instrument’s alphanumeric inputting feature).
Step 3:
Press
(two times) next to CONFIRM to ac-
knowledge the input code is correct.
Step 4:
Be sure to follow on-screen instructions to press
for the activation to be successfully completed.
