Entering Date and Time
In Operate mode, the Status Bar displays the current date and time
above the measurements in the upper right corner of the screen. The
Date/Time option allows you to set the date or time, which are
required for correct data logging operation.
To set the time:
1.
From the Meter menu, scroll to the Date/Time entry and press
[ENTER]
. The Meter Settings window reopens (see Figure 4-2 on

From the Units option, press the [
T
] key once to reach the date
text box. This box displays the current meter date.

Press
[ENTER]
to enter the text window. The meter highlights the
center number. Use the [
W
] and [
X
] keys to scroll to any number
you wish to change.

Two alternatives are available to change a highlighted number:
•
Use the numeric keys to enter the desired number.
•
Use the [
T
] or [
S
] arrow keys to scroll, in 1-digit increments,
to the desired number. (For example, if the text box highlights
09, pressing the [
T
] key twice changes the number to 07. You
can scroll from 01 to 12 for the month and from 01 to 31 for the
day (depending on the number you have selected for the
month.)
In either case, press
[ENTER]
to confirm the entry.
To enter or change the time:
1.
From the time text box, press the [
T
] key once to scroll to the
time text box. This box displays the current meter time.

Press
[ENTER]
to enter the text box. The meter highlights the first
number. Use the [
W
] and [
X
] keys to scroll to any number you
wish to change.
