Entering Analog Inputs

Press
[ENTER]
to enter the text box. The text creation window
appears, as shown in Figure 1-19 below.

Use the four arrow keys to scroll to the desired letter or
symbol, and press
[ENTER]
to add the letter to the name.
Note:
Pressing
[SEL]
causes the screen to show successively a set of
upper-case (capital) letters, a set of lower-case letters, and a
set of symbols. Use all three screens to create a desired label.
c.
Repeat this procedure for each letter or symbol you wish to add
to the name (up to a total of eight characters). If you wish to
delete a letter, press
[F1]
(Delete) to erase each letter or symbol,
from right to left on the label.
d.
When you have completed the label, press
[F3]
(OK) to confirm
the label, or
[F2]
(Cancel) to leave the window without adding
the label.

The next three prompts ask for the function units, the zero input
value, and the span input value. For each prompt:
a.
Press
[ENTER]
to enter the text box.
b.
Use the numeric keys to enter the desired value.
c.
Press
[ENTER]
to confirm the entry.
You have completed entering data for general-purpose inputs.

To confirm the entries and return to Operate Mode, press
[F3]
(OK). The CTF878 returns to Operate Mode.
•
To leave the window without confirming the entries, press
[F2]
(Cancel) or the
[ESC]
key. The CTF878 returns to Operate Mode.
