Programming Site Data
Setting Response Time -
AVRG
Use this option to specify the number of readings that occur before
the meter will respond to a step change in flow rate. In general, the
smaller the number of readings, the less steady the display will
appear. Complete the following steps to set the response time:
1.
Press

. The meter enters the user program.
2.
Press [

] until
PROG
appears and press
[ENTER]
.
3.
Press [
X
] until the desired channel appears. Press
[ENTER]
at
CH1
or
CH2
.
4.
Press [
X
] until
SETUP
appears and press
[ENTER]
.
5.
Press [
X
] until
AVRG
appears and press
[ENTER]
.
6.
Press [
W
]
and [
X
] to select the response and press
[ENTER]
. For
best results, select
STATS
(statistics). This increases the response
time under steady flow conditions while still allowing a rapid
response time to changes in flow rate.
Procedure Options
After completing the above steps, the user program returns to the
SET UP
window. Do one of the following:
•
To continue regular programming, refer to Appendix A,
Menu
Maps
, to navigate to the desired menu.
•
To leave the user program, press
[ESC]
four times.
