 Any D-PVLAN VID modifications in the Advanced tab are common 

for  all  local  P-Trunk  ports.    The  modified  D-PVLAN  VIDs  are  used  only 
locally (by the ETHER-1000 

„LAN‟ switch). 

 

Note:

  VistaNET  does  not  allow  for  assigning  the  same  VID  to  multiple 

D-PVLANs.    It  also  prevents  the  user  from  swapping  the  default  VIDs 
between D-PVLANs. 

 

CAUTION

 

The user must ensure that none of the modified D-PVLAN VIDs are 

matching any of the QVLAN IDs used on local Q-Access and 

Q-Trunk ports.  If this engineering rule is violated, an alarm is 

produced and the affected D-PVLAN VID is displayed in red to 

indicate possible traffic misrouting.

To  set  all  D-PVLAN  VIDs  to  factory  default  values,  click  the
