Frames
– Multicast
Indicates the number of good multicast frames received on the port.
Frames
– Discarded
Indicates the number of received frames that had to be discarded due
to congestion at one or more egress ports.
Length
Reception of each healthy frame whose length is in the (valid) range of
64 to 1632 bytes will increment one of the six “length counters”
depending on the frame‟s length.
Note:
This information is display
ed only if „Input‟ is selected in the
“Show Frame Length Statistics for‟ field below.
Bytes
– Total
Indicates the total number of bytes received on the port in Ethernet
frames with valid CRC checksums (it includes short and long frames).
Output Frame Statistics
Similar to
Port n Input Frame Statistics
but for the outgoing (egressing)
frames.
Frames
– Total
Indicates the total number of frames successfully transmitted from the
port. This includes all unicast, broadcast and multicast frames.
Frames
– Broadcast
Indicates the number of broadcast frames successfully transmitted
from the port.
Frames

Indicates the number of multicast frames successfully transmitted from
the port.
Frames
– Discarded
Indicates the number of frames that the unit attempted to transmit and
failed due to the port's loss of connectivity to the far end (e.g. a
disconnected cable).
