Battery Considerations
Information in this section is provided in accordance with the European Union
Battery Directive, 2006/66/EC.
A "button" type battery is contained within the Graphics ClientM card (Gatan part
# 100699) used in the 950 Solarus Advanced Plasma System. The battery is
located as shown in Figure 26 below.
Battery Characteristics
The Lithium button cell battery (Rayovac BR1225 or equivalent operates from
-30°C to +80°C under normal operating conditions. The typical shelf life of the
battery is 8 years at room temperature.
