Activation
When this function is turned on, it supports
automatic holding and releasing of brake under
start & stop conditions. When the driver brakes the
car, the car will be automatically parked to avoid
rolling down when starting off.
Deactivation
The AUTO HOLD will be deactivated under the
following conditions, and the park brake will not be
locked:
1. Depress the accelerator pedal when starting
off.
2. The engine stops while the car is running.
3. Manually release the EPB.
4. When depressing the brake pedal, press the
AUTO HOLD button.
To ensure safety, the AUTO HOLD function that is
activated under the following conditions will be
turned off and the park brake will be locked:
1. Shut down the engine.
2. Open the driver door or unfasten the seat belt
when the car is stopped.
3. Press the AUTO HOLD button to turn off
AUTO HOLD.
NOTE
When driving into a mechanism such as a car
washing device that transports the car through a
conveyor belt, the AUTO HOLD function must
be turned off, otherwise the car cannot move or
deviates from the driving trajectory.
EPB self-learning
In some cases (for example, when the battery
suddenly loses power or the car has not been
used for a long time), the indicator lamp
will
flash red, and EPB does not work when you pull
up the EPB button.At this time, the driver is
required to depress the brake pedal, press and
then pull up the EPB button, so that EPB button
indicator lamp does not flash and EPB can
complete self-learning and work normally.
